While the lights are glowing, hot cocoa and cider are flowing, and cookies are baking in the oven, there’s nothing more cozy or festive than queueing up something like A Christmas Story or How The Grinch Stole Christmas while cuddling up on the couch. Take a look through this gallery, where we’ve gathered the best of the best Christmas movies of all time!

We’d be remiss if we didn’t include Home Alone. The 1990 classic, starring Macaulay Culkin and Catherine O’Hara, follows the exploits of a little kid named Kevin, whose family all somehow forgets to bring him along on their holiday vacation. Cheese pizzas and a war with two inept burglars nicknamed the Wet Bandits ensues. Despite the circumstances, Kevin has the best holiday EVER, all by himself.
