‘Below Deck’ Season 8

‘Below Deck’ Season 8 — ‘Below Deck’ kicks off season 8 on Nov. 2. Captain Lee is back and headed to the Caribbean, along with fan-favorite bosun Eddie Lucas. This season will be unlike any other. This charter features mostly new crew members that include Francesca Rubi (Chief Stewardess), Rachel Hargrove (Chef), Elizabeth Frankini (Stewardess), Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters (Stewardess), James Hough (Deckhand), and Shane Coopersmith (Deckhand). Francesca is taking over as chief stew from Kate Chastain, who prepared at the end of season 7. Cruising around the Caribbean’s white sandy beaches and crystal blue water, Captain Lee must adjust to the many new personalities on board while the crew juggles a series of challenging and unprecedented charters. One of those challenges is the COVID-19 pandemic, which becomes an issue later on in the season. Season 8 is going to be an epic season for sure. James Hough — James Hough is a new deckhand. He’s a big flirt, a party animal, and committed to doing the bare minimum of work necessary.

Shane Coopersmith — Shane Coopersmith is a new deckhand. He’s also a California surfer turned environmentalist. He’s trying to get into the world of yachting, but his lack of experience may prove to be a problem.

Isabelle Wouters — Isabelle Wouters is a new stewardess. She is a certified yacht master who knows her way around interior and exterior of a boat better than most.
