The highly-anticipated film, directed by Greta Gerwig, is set for release on July 21 in theaters.

Having grown up in Australia, Margot hilariously revealed that she didn’t really grow up playing Barbie despite being the title character in the film! ‘I don’t think I did. I know my cousin had a bunch of Barbies, and I’d go to her house,’ she said to Vogue. Growing up on Australia’s Gold Coast, Robbie spent a lot of time outside. ‘Building cubbies was what we did all day, every day,’ she also note.
