Bam Margera first found success by shooting videos of himself and friends skateboarding and doing stunts and you can see photos of him, here.
These videos would evolve into the CKY video series, and became a hit with the underground skateboarding scene of the 1990s. Jeff Tremaine, then the editor for ‘Big Brother’ magazine, connected with Bam and helped him form the crew that would later morph into MTV’s ‘Jackass.’ The stunt-prank show became a pop culture phenomenon, spawning a handful of movies and a few spin-offs, including Bam’s show, Viva La Bam. The show ran for five seasons, and mixed Bam’s outlandish stunts and pranks with his family life. Bam’s other work includes a few independent films, a few TV series, and appearances in the ‘Tony Hawk Pro Skater’ series.
Bam has been romantically linked to a number of women. He was married to Melissa ‘Missy’ Rothstein, but the couple divorced in 2012. He married Nicole Boyd in 2013, and the couple welcomed a son, Phoenix Wolf, in 2017. Bam has struggled with alcohol and substance abuse throughout his life.
