Backstreet Boys Over The Past 20 Years — PICS — Backstreet Boys returned with a brand new album, DNA, and performed select songs from the album, as well as some classics, at the iHeartRadio theater in NYC on Jan. 25th, 2019. The band is also wrapping up their successful residency this year, after an 80-show run. The boy banders had originally signed on for nine shows in Sin City, but added dozens more due to popular demand. Band member AJ McLean reflected on the long-running residency in a HollywoodLife interview. “You know, it’s definitely bittersweet,” he told us ahead of the show’s closing night. ‘I think it hasn’t hit all of us yet. At the same time, it will definitely on Saturday. Obviously, everybody and their grandmothers [are] coming out, all of our wives, and families, and friends, and it’s going to be just a celebration of life. Vegas has embraced us with open arms, and it’s such an amazingly tight-knit community out there.’ The Backstreet Boys first rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys, in 1996.
