                                                                                                          ‘Avatar’ is a 2009 film that was directed by James Cameron. The movie became an instant blockbuster and now is the highest-grossing film worldwide with over $2.8 billion at the box office. The original film starred Zoe Saldana, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Matt Gerald. All of these stars will be returning for the upcoming sequel. Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Edie Falco, and more had the cast of the sequels. The first ‘Avatar’ follows Jake Sully, a paraplegic Marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a mission in the 22nd century. When he meets the inhabitants of Pandora, he becomes torn between his duty and the place that feels like home. ‘Avatar’ was released on December 18, 2009.
