Ashley Greene may be one of the biggest stars from the Twilight Saga, but her talent can be recognized in many other ways. Greene was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1987, and initially set out to focus on modeling as a career. However, being just 5’5”, she was not tall enough for many agencies, so she became heavily involved in acting and focused on commercial roles. Her big break came in 2008 when she played Alice Cullen in the Twilight films, Edward’s cute and spunky sister who could see visions. Sure, her well-liked vampire persona launched her to the top, but her success didn’t stop there.
Greene went on to do a role in Skateland, a film that was honored at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. She won awards including Teen Choice and Young Hollywood Awards, and had a role in the 2019 Academy Award-winning Bombshell, for which she was pictured here at the premiere for in Hollywood in December 2019.
