Ana Navarro is seen on-set of ABC talk show ‘The View‘. The political strategist and commentator joined the series full-time in 2018 after appearing as a guest contributor for five years.
Ana was born on December 28, 1971 in Nicaragua to parents Violeta Flores López and José Augusto Navarro Flores. The family later immigrated to the United States when she was nine years old, however, her father stayed behind. Notably, she is a proud Republican. Ana attended high school in the Coconut Grove area of Miami, Florida before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and Political Science from the University of Miami. She later earned her Juris Doctor in 1997 from from St. Thomas University School of Law.
She has primarily resided in Miami with her husband, fellow lawyer and lobbyist Al Cárdenas, who she married in March 2019. As of 2020, she splits her time between the southern Florida city and New York, due to her work on ‘The View.’ Click to see photos of Ana over the years.
