Abby Lee Miller — Abby Lee Miller is perhaps one of the most contentious and outrageous reality television personalities ever. She founded the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and rose to fame on the Lifetime TV show, ‘Dance Moms,’ which premiered in July 2011. She became known for her strict and controverisal, albeit successful, teaching methods, and she often feuded with the mothers of her dancers on the show. In Oct. 2015, Abby was indicted for fraud after she allegedly created a secret bank account to stow income she received. She pleaded not guilty, and her case was delayed for several months. In June 2016, she struck a plea deal, and was sentenced to one year and one day in prison in May 2017. She began serving her time in July 2017, and missed the second half of season 7 of ‘Dance Moms.’ She was transferred to a halfway house to complete her sentence in March 2018, but was released on May 25 after being diagnosed with cancer. She did the rest of her time in a hospital, and remains in a wheelchair as she continues to re-learn how to walk. Click through to see more photos of Abby Lee MIller!
