Tyler Posey is getting married! The Teen Wolf star, 31, announced his engagement to his girlfriend Phem on June 1 after over two years of dating. Tyler told PEOPLE that he proposed on Valentine’s Day while the couple was walking on the beach in Cambria, California, which he called Phem’s “favorite place.” Phem said that “the love feels deeper now” after getting engaged to Tyler.

Phem is an indie music artist.
Phem is an alternative/indie music artist, who dropped her first EP, VACUMHEAD, in 2019. After releasing more singles and EPs, she came out with her first album in 2021. Phem has collaborated with many artists including Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker, G-Eazy, and Lil Tracy.
Her parents are musicians.
“Both my parents are musicians, so I was lucky enough to be born into a household where music was constantly around,” Phem said in an interview with Notion in October 2020. “I started out on the piano, then drums, and eventually got into writing,” she added.
She went on tour with Avril Lavigne.
Phem was an opener for the European leg of Avril Lavigne‘s Love Sux tour. Phem and the band Girlfriends played at several shows for Avril in April 2023 and May 2023. “Excited to have @girlfriendsxo and @phem4evr join me on tour!” Avril wrote on Twitter in March 2023. Phem has also gone on tour with Lil Xan and Grandson.
She started dating Tyler in 2020.
Tyler and Phem fell in love in 2020 after music producer John Feldmann had them write songs together. Phem told PEOPLE that she wasn’t looking for a relationship when she met Tyler. “The thing I like the best is that we were friends first,” she said. The couple made their red carpet debut in January 2023, at the Teen Wolf: The Movie premiere in LA. They got engaged the following month.
She helped Tyler discover his sexuality.
Tyler came out as queer and sexually fluid in 2021. He said his decision to do so was inspired by Phem, who is also queer. “She’s helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I’m sexually fluid,” Tyler said in an interview with NME in July 2021.
