Nate Mitchell formed a solid connection with Gabby Windey on this season of The Bachelorette, but she eliminated him when she realized that she wasn’t ready to be a stepmom to his daughter. Right around the time that episode aired, Reality Steve published allegations from two former girlfriends about Nate. 1. Nate Is A Dad
Nate revealed on the July 18 episode of The Bachelorette that he is a father to the “most amazing baby girl.” He got emotional while talking about leaving her to be on the show. However, he knew it was something important that he had to talk to Gabby about. It ended up being his downfall, as Gabby eventually realized she was not ready to be a mom yet. She sent Nate home when she realized that they were in two separate places in their lives.
2. What Are The Allegations Against Nate?
The drama for Nate started when a woman named Kelsey posted a TikTok claiming that she dated him for more than a year (before the show), but said that he never once told her that he had a daughter. After the video was published, Reality Steve continued to dig on the situation, and Kelsey came forward with a timeline of photos as evidence of her relationship with Nate. She also shared alleged messages from another woman, who said that she was dating Nate during the same time period as Kelsey. The women alleged that they did not know about each other amidst their alleged relationships with Nate.
After the story came out, Nate subtly referenced it on Instagram. “Two sides to every story,” he wrote, in response to a comment about the drama. “Wish u the best.”
3. What Does Nate Mitchell Do?
Nate works as an electrical engineer in Chicago, Illinois. His official job title is a Senior Associate at Sargent & Lundy LLC. The company provides services to power plants. “I have began to specialize in automatic voltage regulation of generators, coordination of protective devices in fossil and nuclear power plants, substations and distribution systems, power systems transient stability, transient recovery voltage analysis, auxiliary system studies, arc flash studies, grounding studies, induction coordination studies, root cause (forensic analysis), system planning and substation modifications,” his LinkedIn confirms.
4. Where Did Nate Go To College?
Nate was a graduate student at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He graduated in 2012 with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Before that, he received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university. He also has an Associate’s Degree from Southeastern Illinois College, which he received in 2009.
5. Nate Was A College Basketball Player
In addition to being dedicated to his academics during college, Nate was also the captain fo the basketball team at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Before that, he was on the basketball team at Southeastern Illinois College, as well.
