Finding love during quarantine can be extremely challenging. However, Simone Biles, 23, Jonathan Owens, 25, have been able to break through those walls in the most beautiful way. The decorated gymnast and her NFL beau have been lighting up social media for the past few months ever since speculation began that they were an item in July. He appears to be much more than a rebound after she confirmed her split from longtime boyfriend & fellow sports star Stacey Ervin Jr. earlier this year.

Axe Throwing
Simone took to Instagram on Jan. 23, 2021 to post this adorable photo of her and her beau having fun while axe throwing. They were both dressed in comfortable clothing, including a sweatshirt and shorts on Simone and a T-shirt under a vest and pants on Jonathan, as they held out their touching axes while standing in front of two neon-colored bullseye displays. They also wore black face masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Celebrating 2021
Nearly everyone was over 2020, including Simone and Jonathan! The 23-year-old flashed an ear to ear grin as she snuggled against Jonathan for a cute photo next to a Christmas tree. “us against 2021,” she captioned the adorable photo. Simone looked so cute in a fitted pair of ripped skinny jeans, a black tank and sneakers, accessorizing with her black Gucci marmont belt. For his part, Jonathan stayed casual in gray sweats and a blue button down.
Prom Posing
ISimone shared the cutest photo of herself with Jonathan serving some major prom pose vibes on December 7. The two dressed in cool colors, with Simone rocking a cut-out blue top featuring one long sleeve and light wash denim jeans with tears at the knees. Jonathan looked so suave in a white button down shirt and gray pants with white sneakers. The football star tenderly wrapped his arm around Simone’s waste while the two also held hands. “You,” the gymnast captioned the image, featuring a string of three cute and flirty emojis.
Dinner Company
Simone and Jonathan were the absolute cutest when they shared dinner together on November 29. The couple looked extra loved-up, and showed off their PDA in the snap above. Jonathan held on lovingly to Simone as she sat in the NFL star’s lap. The two shared a sweet kiss and left fans swooning in the comments! “Good food better company,” Simone captioned the images.
One ‘Gucci’ Night
Although Simone and Jonathan clearly love to go out as much as they safely can, a night in is also a favorite of theirs. On September 21, the couple got cooking in the kitchen and flaunted their chef style in two posts Simone shared to Instagram. In the snaps, Simone and Jonathan fashioned matching headwear and looked so exceptionally cute as they cuddled up for the selfie pics! “Gucci Night,” Simone captioned the images.
First Social Media Sighting
Fans started to speculate that something was up between Simone and Jonathan after she posted a touching dedication to him on his 25th birthday in late July 2020. He gave her a piggyback ride on his back to go along with the tribute while they both posed in a very loving manner.

It didn’t take too long for Simone to let the cat out of the bag about their coupling. The Olympic gold medalist went social media official with him in early August when she uploaded two snaps of them cuddling up. “It’s just us,” she captioned the sweet images.

The summer love between them was very evident every time Simone took to her social media accounts. Jonathan always finds a way to swoop in with a sweet kiss for her, leaving their fans in a very emotional state. “The only time I fall is when he’s there to catch me,” Simone captioned their adorable images.
