Machine Gun Kelly

Bio:
Machine Gun Kelly (born Colson Baker on April 22, 1990) is an American rapper and actor from Houston, Texas. Born to missionary parents, MGK has lived all over the world from Egypt to Germany and several cities in the United States including Chicago, Los Angels, Denver and Cleveland. Bullied as a kid, he had a very unstable home life. MGK eventually dropped out of school to rap full time and was on the verge of being evicted when he appeared at Harlem’s Apollo Theater where his consecutive victories made him the first ever caucasian rapper to win at the world famous theater.  In 2011 he was approached by Sean “P.Diddy” Combs at the South By Southwest festival, and offered to sign him to his Bad Boy Records label. His debut album “Lace Up” debuted at number 2 on the Billboard top 200 charts. June 25, 2015 MGK released the title of his sophomore album, “General Admission” and he announced that it is due to be released in the summer of 2015.

Personal Life:

MGK has a child named Casie, who was born in 2008. In May 2015 he confirmed that he has been dating model and Kanye West’s ex Amber Rose. The two were seen being affectionate in a London airport and when asked about his budding relationship with Amber, MGK replied “What are you talking about [the relationship] with Amber? Ya’ll know what’s up.” They have since been photographed together several times and attended the 2015 BET Awards together. When asked about their relationship on Real 92.3 Amber said “We’re just getting to know each other. He’s a really nice guy. He treats me really, really nice, and I have a blast with him.”
