Will Forte (born Orville Willis Forte IV on June 17, 1970 in Alameda Country, California) is an American actor, comedian, writer and voice actor. Will was raised in Moraga, California before his family moved to Lafayette, California. He was interested in comedy from a young age, idolizing Peter Sellers, David Letterman and Steve Martin. Will attended the UCLA, graduating with a degree in history. After school, Will got a job as a financial broker, but the job made him miserable. He gave it up to pursue a career in comedy, taking classes at Groundlings, the legendary improvisational and sketch comedy troupe. His first professional job was writing for The Jenny McCarthy Show. After a stint writing for the Late Show with David Letterman, Will got a job writing for 3rd Rock for the Sun and That ‘70s Show. His work caught the attention of Lorne Micheals, and Will joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2002. His best known character was MacGruber, a parody of the television series, MacGyver. This led to a MacGruber film in 2010. He left the show that year, and continued to act in films like Rock of Ages, The Watch and Nebraska. Will returned to television in 2015 with The Last Man on Earth. In addition to acting, Will has lent his voice to cartoons like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Bob’s Burgers and Moonbeam City.

Personal Life:
Will has Obsessive-compulsive disorder and has openly discussed his challenges with it. Will is a support of the camp Wampler’s Kids and has been a spokesman for the SciEyes organization. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Police and Advocacy Council on Homelessness. In Sept. 2015, Will and actress January Jones split after five months of dating.
