Wentworth Miller (born June 2, 1972 in Oxfordshire, England) is an American actor. Wentworth made his first appearance on TV in a guest role for Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1998. From there he starred in ABC’s 2002 mini-series Dinotopia and the 2003 film, The Human Stain. Wentworth’s biggest break came two years later when he was cast as the main character in Fox’s Prison Break, which ran for 4 season. Wentworth got his first screenwriting credit for the 2013 movie, Stoker.

Wentworth Miller was born in Oxfordshire, England to two American parents. His father was studying at Oxford at the time of his birth. His family eventually moved back to Park Slope, Brooklyn, where he grew up. Wentworth publicly came out as gay in August 2013 when he posted a letter on GLAAD’s website declining an invitation to attend the Saint Petersburg International Film Festival. He has been previously linked to actor Luke Mcfarlane, though those reports have not been confirmed.
