Tom Selleck (born Thomas William Selleck in Detroit, Michigan on January 29, 1945), is an American actor and film producer. Appearing in movies and on television since 1969, Tom’s career has ranged far and wide with roles in the hit series Magnum P.I., starring as private investigator Thomas Magnum. Since 2010, he has appeared as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan in the CBS drama Blue Bloods. He has also appeared as Dr. Richard Burke on Friends, where he played the on-again, off-again love-interest of Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), and as A.J. Cooper on the TV series Las Vegas. He has received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe among many other accolades for his work in Hollywood.

Personal Life:
From 1971 to 1982, Tom was married to model Jacqueline Ray. During that time, he adopted her son, Kevin Shepard, born in 1966. On August 7, 1987, Selleck married Jillie Mack. They have one daughter, Hannah Margaret Selleck, born on December 16, 1988. Besides being a family man, Tom was once a competitive volleyball player in Hawaii, is an avid ice hockey fan and currently resides on an avocado farm in California.
