Swizz Beatz (born Kasseem Dean in Bronx, New York on September 13, 1978) is an American hip-hop artist and recording producer. He started his career as a deejay but soon moved on to bigger things. He rose to fame at 16 by working with East Coast rapper DMX and the Ruff Ryders Entertainment record label. He has worked with Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Lenny Kravitz and more.

Swizz is best known for being a recording producer in the hip-hop industry. He’s also married to Alicia Keys.

Personal Life:
Swizz shares a child, Prince Nasir Dean, with former girlfriend Nicole Levy. He married Mashonda in 2004 and they have one child together, Kaseem Jr. They divorced in 2008. He also has a daughter, born in 2009, with a Russian singer. Swizz married Alicia Keys in 2010. Their first child, Egypt Daoud, was born later that year. Their second child, Genesis Ali Dean, was born on Dec. 27, 2014.
