Suzanne Somers (born Suzanne Marie Mahoney on October 16, 1946 in San Bruno, California) is an American actress, author and businesswoman. She starred on the television series Three’s Company as Chrissy Snow, and on the show Step by Step as Carol Lambert. Somers also had roles in the films American Graffiti and Rich Men, Single Women. She is also known for appearing in informercials for the Thighmaster, an exercise product that shapes one’s thighs. As an author, Somers has written multiple best-selling self-help books, such as I’m Too Young for This!: The Natural Hormone Solution to Enjoy Menopause, as well as the upcoming title TOX-SICK: From Toxic to Not Sick. She is currently starring on season 20 of Dancing With The Stars with partner Tony Dovolani.

Somers attended the San Francisco College for Women. She first married Bruce Somers, and they have one son, Bruce Somers Jr. Somers is currently married to Canadian television host Alan Hamel. In 2001, Somers discovered she had breast cancer, and underwent a lumpectomy to remove the cancer.
