Spencer Pratt (born Spencer William Pratt on August 14, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is an American television personality. Spencer first gained fame in 2005, co-creating and starring in the short-lived reality television series, The Princes of Malibu, along with his now-former-best friend, Brody Jenner. Spencer returned to television in 2007, after developing a relationship with Heidi Montag, star of The Hills, a spin-off of the MTV reality television series, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. They remained on the show until 2010, with Spencer’s feud with Lauren Conrad being a centerpiece of the show. He, along with Heidi, appeared on the second season of the American version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2009. The couple also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and Marriage Boot Camp in 2015. Because of his antics on numerous programs, Spencer was voted “Greatest Reality TV Villain” in a 2015 Yahoo fan-poll. Spencer dabbled in music in 2007, providing a verse on Heidi’s leaked single, “Body Language.”

Personal Life:
Spencer’s younger sister, Stephanie Pratt, is also a reality television personality. Spencer and Heidi eloped in Mexico in 2008 and formally married in the fifth season of The Hills in 2009. Later that year, Heidi filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. They cancelled the divorce, confessing it was done to boost Heidi’s ailing career. They renewed their vows in 2009. In 2010, Spencer was arrested in Costa Rica after attempting to board an aircraft with hunting weapons. In 2013, Spencer completed his undergraduate degree in political science at University of Southern California. He and Heidi announced they were expecting a baby on April 12, 2017.
