Bio:
SoKo (born Stéphanie Sokolinski in Bordeaux, France on October 26, 1985) is a French singer-songwriter, musician and actress. In 2007, SoKo achieved a hit single in Denmark with a personal anecdotal song after the radio program The Black Boy Scouts began to promote it. The song reached number one on the chart of the Danish version of the iTunes Store and was the number one song in rotation on radio. That same year she began touring in the UK, supporting M.I.A. on the KALA Tour. SoKo has self-released one EP Not Sokute, and now has her own record label called Babycat Records and is signed to Because Music in France. Since her first EP, she has released two other albums — her latest being My Dreams Dictate My Reality, which was released in 2015.

SoKo is best known for being a singer. However, she reached peak notoriety after she began dating American actress, Kristen Stewart.

Personal Life:
SoKo was born in Bordeaux, France from a Polish father and a French-Italian mother. She has used the nickname Soko for as long as she can remember. Leaving home at age 16, SoKo quit school and moved to Paris to start acting class, where she studied for one year. She then resumed her education at several different schools, but quickly became tired of it and dropped out. She later appeared in several French films and began to write songs. In 2016 it was revealed that SoKo and Kristen Stewart were dating. “I’m very, very, very in love and very happy in a relationship,” SoKo told W magazine in March of that same year.
