Sia (born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler in Adelaide, South Australia on December 18, 1975) is a pop and jazz singer and songwriter. She has collaborated with Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Afrojack, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Lea Michele, Kesha and Rita Ora. Her music has been featured in many television shows such as Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries and Rookie Blue.
Best Known For:
Sia is best known for singing the lead vocals and co-writing on David Guetta‘s Titanium,” and Flo Rida‘s “Wild Ones.”
Personal Life:
Sia is bisexual. She sang her hit song “Chandelier” at the Democratic National Committee’s LGBT Gala on June 18, 2014, in front of President Obama. She has openly discussed her depression, drug and alcohol use. She ended her relationship with girlfriend JD Samson of electro-punk band Le Tigre in June 2010, and became engaged to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang on June 6, 2014.
