Scottie Pippen

Bio:
Scottie Pippen (born September 25, 1965) is a former professional basketball player. He’s most remembered for being a player for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA, and played with them during the team’s 6 winning championships. He is widely considered to be one of the best small forwards of all time. He began his NBA career for the Chicago Bulls, playing with them from 1987 to 1998. After, he played for the Houston Rockets from 1998 to 1999, the Portland Trail Blazers from 1999 to 2003, and finally back with the Bulls from 2003 to 2004. During his time in the league, he garnered numerous awards. He was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight times in a row, and the All-NBA First Team three times. He was the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1994 and a seven-time NBA All Star. He’s the only player ever to have won both an Olympic gold medal and NBA title in the same year twice, which he did in 1992 and 1996. He was also a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic “Dream Team. He is a two-time inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Chicago Bulls retired his number, 33, in 2005, and his college, University of Central Arkansas, retired 33 in 2010 as well.

Personal Life:
Scottie married Karen McCollum in 1998, and they divorced in 1990. Their son, Antron, was born in 1987. He went on to marry Larsa Pippen in 1997. They have four children together — Sophia, Justin, Preston, and Scottie Jr. — and split in Oct. 2016.
