Scott Weinger (born Scott Eric Weinger in New York City, New York on October 5, 1975) is an American actor, writer, and producer. Scott’s first professional acting work was a national commercial for Ideal Toys while his first acting role was in Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach. After guest starring on ABC’s Life Goes On, Scott became a series regular on the situation comedy The Family Man on CBS. His next regular role in a series came as Steve Hale on the sitcom Full House from 1992 to 1995, after he had guest-starred on one episode during its fifth season. During the run of Full House, Scott made his motion-picture debut as the voice of Aladdin in Disney’s 1992 animated feature Aladdin. After Full House and Aladdin, Scott took on several small roles in TV shows, as well as starred in a 2003 horror comedy film, Shredder. He also provided his voice for Osamu Tezuka’s Metropolis and the 3-D Disney film Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Scott is scheduled to reprise his role of Steve Hale on the Full House spin-off series, Fuller House. Scott’s career currently focuses on writing and producing as he is a writer and producer for television, including for ABC’s Galavant and Black-ish. He also is a co-executive producer of ABC’s The Muppets.

Scott Weinger graduated from Harvard University in 1998 with a magna cum laude degree in English and American Literature. Scott is married to TV writer/producer, Rina Mimoun. The couple have been married since 2008.
