Russell Westbrook (born Russell Westbrook Jr. in Long Beach, California on November 12, 1988) is an American NBA player. He currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was the NBA Finals MVP in 2006. He was the fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft. Russell is a five-time NBA All-Star and a two-time NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player.

Russell met Nina Earl during college, and the two dated until they got married in 2015. Russell is known for his crazy style off of the court, and many have hailed him as one of the best dressed players in the league. He was childhood friends with Khelcey Barrs who died tragically from cardiomegaly in 2004. He wears a KB3 wristband in support of Khelcey.
