Reid Flair (born Richard Reid Fliehr on February 26, 1988 in Charlotte, NC) was an aspiring American professional wrestler. He was the son of professional wrestling legend, Ric Flair. Reid decided at an early age to follow in his father’s footsteps. He wrestled in his first pro event for the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling, at the age of 10. Since then, he wrestled for various independent promotions, like Big Time Wrestling and Northeast Wrestling. Most recently, Reid had been wrestling and training in Japan, and was scheduled to go on an American tour with his father, Ric. On March 29, 2013, Reid was found dead in his Charlotte hotel room from unknown causes.

Personal Life:
Reid Flair was born and raised in Charlotte, NC where he attended Providence High School. As a high school wrestler, Reid won the AAU National Wrestling Tournament but also had his fair share of down moments — he knocked an opponent out cold before a match after the opponent heckled his father. Between 2007 and 2009, Reid was arrested for assault and battery, driving while impaired, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
