Rachel Bilson (born Rachel Sarah Bilson on August 25, 1981 in Los Angeles, California) Rachel was in a head-on collision when she was a teenager where she allegedly died and came back. The experience encouraged Rachel to stop getting into trouble and she focused her life. Rachel enrolled into Grossmont College in San Diego, dropping out to pursue a career in acting. After many commercial appearances, she made her screen-acting debut in episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 8 Simply Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter in 2003. She was cast in The O.C. as Summer Roberts, becoming a series regular. Her first film role was The Last Kiss in 2006, and she followed it up with roles in Jumper, New York I Love You, and appearances in television shows like Chuck and How I Met Your Mother. In 2011, she began working on the CW series, Hart of Dixie. She stayed with the show until its 2015 cancellation. Often recognized as a fashionista, Rachel has worked with DKNY jeans in 2007 to launch the Edie Rose collection in 2008. Unfortunately, the Bling Ring robbery gang stole most of the collection in 2009. In 2011, she worked with Nichole Chavez and Steve Madden to launch the footwear destination, ShoeMint.

Rachel and Adam Brody started dating in 2003, ending their relationship in 2006. The following year, Rachel and Hayden Christensen met on the set of Jumper and began a relationship. Though they were engaged in 2008, they split up in the middle of 2010. They reconciled a few months later. They reconciled a few months later. In Oct. 2014, they welcomed their first child, daughter Briar Rose.
