Bio:
Park Jae-sang (born December 31, 1977 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and record producer, better known as PSY. Before introducing his international hit single “Gangnam Style,” PSY made frequent sexual jokes in his elementary school classroom. While he was once deemed inappropriate, teachers from his past now appreciate his energy. Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” is what influenced PSY to want to get into music. “Gangnam Style” was released on PSY’s sixth studio album and the tune peaked at number one on the iTunes chart, surpassing Justin Bieber’s “As Long as You Love Me” and Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake” in August 2012 — the first time for any South Korean artist. On a personal note, PSY has been married since 2006 to Yoo Hye-yeon and they have twin daughters.
