Paul Wesley (born Pawel Wasilewski, in New Brunswick, New Jersey on July 23, 1982) is an actor well known for starring in the TV series, The Vampire Diaries, as good vampire brother, Stefan Salvatore. Prior to the show, he appeared in several shows, such as 24, The O.C., 8 Simple Rules, Smallville, and Army Wives. He also had the lead role in the ABC Family miniseries, Fallen.

He married Pretty Little Liars actress, Torrey DeVitto, in April 2011. Then on July 20, 2013, Paul confirmed his and Torrey’s plans to divorce. Paul started dating Phoebe Tonkin shortly after his marriage ended.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Stefan Makes A Shocking Sacrifice For Caroline

Holy moly! We certainly didn’t see THAT twist coming. As the gang tried to bring Caroline back after she switched off her humanity, things took a turn for the worse on the March 12 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and Stefan was forced to take drastic measures.
It hasn’t been long since Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) turned her humanity off — it happened on the previous episode of The Vampire Diaries — but she has already turned Mystic Falls upside down. Plus, Kai (Chris Wood) sought forgiveness from Bonnie (Kat Graham) after her return to the present and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) discovered that his mom’s still alive.
