Bio:
Milo Yiannopoulos (born Milo Yiannopoulos in Greece on October 18, 1983) was raised in England. He attended the University of Manchester and the Wolfson College at Cambridge before dropping out of both. Milo became a tech writer and eventually joined the controversial Breitbart News organization. In Jan. 2017, he was removed from UC Berkeley’s campus before his planned talk was protested by masked agitators. In Feb. 2017, videos surfaced of Milo condoning pedophilia, which caused an outpour of outrage and eventually lead to Simon & Schuster canceling his book deal. On February 21, 2017 Milo quit Breitbart News.
Best Known For:
Milo is best known for his outspoken views, which he shared on Breitbart News. He was permanently kicked off Twitter in the summer of 2016 after his followers aggressively harassed Ghostbusters actress and Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones.
Personal Life:
Milo’s parents divorced when he was young and he was raised by his mother and step-father. He is gay and is a self-described, “gay exceptionalist.”
