Bio:
Master P (born Percy Robert Miller on April 29, 1967 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American rapper, actor, record producer and philanthropist. Master P grew up in the Calliope Projects in New Orleans, attending Booker T. Washington High School. Master P played basketball and attended the University of Houston on an athletic scholarship. He dropped out to transfer to Merrit College in Oakland, California, to major in business. After inheriting money from his grandfather, Master P opened a record store, called No Limit Records, starting his career in the music business. In 1991, he released his debut album, Get Away Clean. He started a rap group, TRU, but didn’t find success until 1997 album, Ghetto D. The record contained his hit single, “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” That would be the peak of Master P’s music success, though he would still continue to record and perform. Master P has been involved in many successful business ventures. In 1998, Forbes listed him as one of America’s 40 highest paid entertainers. In addition to his investment business, he has acted in numerous films, including Gone in 60 Seconds, I Got the Hook Up, and even performing with World Championship Wrestling in 1999.

Personal Life:
Master P married Sonya Miller in 1989, but the two have been involved in a nasty divorce battle for years. He has nine children: Percy Romeo (aka rapper Lil’ Romeo) Vercy, Veno, Tytyana, Intylyana, Cymphonique, Hercy, Itali, and Mercy. Cymphonique is a professional singer. Rappers Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder are his brothers and he is cousin to rapper Mo B. Dick.
