Lewis Hamilton

Bio:
Lewis Hamilton (born Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton, MBE, on January 7, 1985 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England) is a British Formula One racer. Lewis was always interested racing. He started to race radio-controlled cars as a child, winning club championships when he was six. He began driving go-karts when he was eight, becoming the European champion in 2000. In 2001, Lewis switched over to Formula Renault, winning over 14 races and taking home the championship in 2003. Lewis raced in a variety of racing circuits until he made his Formula One debut in 2007. Lewis was a break-out star, nearly winning the Formula One Championship in 2007, before securing the championship in 2008. He was the then-youngest F-1 champion in history, and would go on to win the title two more times in 2014 and 2015.

Lewis is best known as a Formula One racer, having won the F-1 Championship in 2007, 2014 and 2015.

Personal Life:  
Lewis currently lives in Monaco, having resided in Switzerland prior to that. Lewis was awarded an MBE by Queen Elizabeth in 2009. He is a big fan of art, particularly that of Andy Warhol. In 2007, he started a relationship with Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. The couple reportedly split up in 2010. However, Lewis and Nicole were seen together numerous times the following years. The on-and-off couple split for good in February 2015.
