Kelly Rowland (born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 11, 1981) is an American recording artist, songwriter, dancer, actress and television personality. She is one third of the American R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child — which also included Beyoncé and Michelle Williams — one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time who have sold 50 million records worldwide. Kelly also had huge success as a solo artist, particularly with her song “When Love Takes Over.”
One of Kelly’s greatest solo singles was “Dilemma” which she sang with rapper Nelly. Her other popular solo singles included “Commander” and “Work”.
Kelly took to acting after Destiny’s Child split up, and she appeared in various films, including Freddy vs. Jason (2003),The Seat Filler (2004) and Think Like a Man (2012). In 2011, she joined the judging panel on the eighth series of The X Factor (UK), but left after one season. On Jan. 11 2013 Kelly announced that Destiny’s Child would be releasing new music in 2013. They are reported to be performing their new single Nuclear at the 2013 Super Bowl.

Kelly was dating her manager, Tim Witherspoon, until they became engaged in Dec. 2013. In May 2014 the couple wed at a secret ceremony in Costa Rica, surrounded by their closest friends and family members — including Beyonce! On Nov. 4, 2014, Kelly gave birth to their first child, a boy named Titan Jewel Witherspoon.
