Jose Antonio Baston (born Jose Antonio Baston Patino on April 13, 1968 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican businessman and media mogul. He has worked his way up to the prestigious position of President of Television and Contents for Televisa, Latin America’s largest media and entertainment company, after being a crucial part to helping the company through a financial restructuring. Jose has held the position since 2001 and has served on the company’s Board of Directors since 1998, also taking part in its Executive Committee. Outside of his busy work life, he is the lucky husband to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.
Best Known For:
Jose is best known for his role as President of Television and Contents of Grupo Televisa, as it is the biggest media company in Latin America. He is also recognized as Eva’s significant other.
Personal Life:
Jose began dating Eva in November 2013, making their red carpet debut at the Museo Jumex Opening dinner at Case De La Bola in his hometown of Mexico City, Mexico. Although it is unclear how the two met, Jose and Eva got engaged in Dubai on December 2013 after two years together. On May 21, 2016, Jose and Eva tied the knot in sunset ceremony in Mexico City.
