Henry Cavill (born Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill in Channel Islands, England on May 5, 1983), is an English actor. He played the role of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk, on The Tudors from 2007 until 2010. He starred in Man of Steel, his break out film role.
