Bio:
Helena Christensen (born on December 25, 1968 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a Danish model, who has worked with Victoria’s Secret. She was Miss Denmark in 1986, and represented her country for Miss Universe that year, but moved to Paris afterward to pursue a career in modeling. In the 1990s, Helena appeared on magazine covers for Vogue, Elle and more, while also starring in several high-profile fashion campaigns (Revlon, Chanel, Hermes and more). She then became a Victoria’s Secret model and spokesperson for Revlon, and has continued to do some modeling ever since. As for her business career, Helena helped find Nylon Magazine in 1999, and served as its first Creative Director. She’s also had a clothing line, lingerie collection and has worked as a photographer.

Personal Life:
Helena dated musician Michael Hutchence for five years in the early 1990s. From 1998-2003, she dated Norman Reedus, and together they have a son, Mingus, born in October 1999. After separating from Norman in 2003, she began dating Paul Banks, singer of Interpol, in 2008, and they are still together as of June 2015.
