George Michael (born Georgios Kyriacos Panagiòtou on June 25, 1963) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. George rose to fame in the 1980s when he formed the pop duo Wham! with his school friend, Andrew Ridgeley. His 1987 debut solo album, Faith, has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. George is one of the world’s best-selling music artists — he’s sold more than 100 million records worldwide. He’s won numerous awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, four Ivor Novello Awards, three American Music Awards, and two Grammy Awards from eight nominations. George was arrested for “engaging in a lewd act” in a public toilet in a park in Beverly Hills, California on April 7, 1998. George tragically died in his home on Christmas Day 2016.

Personal Life:
George Michael started a relationship with Anselmo Feleppa, a male Brazilian dress-designer, whom he had met at the 1991 concert Rock in Rio. Six months later, Anselmo found out he had HIV. Sadly, Anselmo died in 1993 from an AIDS-related brain hemorrhage. George started a long-term relationship with Kenny Goss, a former flight attendant, cheerleader coach and sportswear executive from Dallas, in 1996. George admitted that they broke up in 2009.
