George Harrison (born in Liverpool, England on February 25, 1943) was an English musician who rose to fame as the guitarist of the Beatles. He wrote “Here Comes the Sun” and “Something” for the band. The Beatles were created in 1960 was with the band for ten years — his last recording session took place with Paul McCartney and Ringo Star on Jan. 4, 1970. They recorded “I Me Mine.” In 1999, George was stabbed 40 times when his house was broken into, landing him in the hospital. Two years later, he went into the hospital for a surgery removing a cancerous grown on hi lung, and then was later treated for a brain tumor. He passed away on Nov. 29, 2011 at the age of 58.

George Harrison has been married twice. In 1966, he married Pattie Boyd, but they split in 1974 after he reportedly was having an affair with Ringo Starr’s wife. In 1978, he married Olivia Trinidad Arias and the two had a sun 11 months later.
