Bio:
G Herbo (born Herbert Wright in Chicago, Illinois on Oct. 8, 1995 ) is a rapper and songwriter. G Herbo, formerly known as Lil Herbo, first gained attention in 2014 after he dropped his debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland. He followed that with the release of Pistol P Project that same year. He picked up more momentum at the end of 2014 after collaborating with Nicki Minaj on their track “Chiraq.” The conversation surrounding his first two projects and singles led to him signing a record deal with Cinematic Music Group. Under his new label, Herbo dropped his third and fourth mixtapes, Ballin Like Kobe and Strictly 4 My Fans in 2015. In Apr. 2016, Herbo announced his debut album Humble Beast. The album is reportedly scheduled to release some time in 2017.

G Herbo is best known for rapping. One his most popular songs to date is “Chiraq” featuring Nicki Minaj.

G Herbo says he was influenced by Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Gucci Mane growing up. His music is classified as trap and drill music, a sub-genre native to the Chicago music scene.
