Personal Life:
Frances Bean Cobain had been the subject of many custody battles following her father’s death and mother’s rehab stint. In 2009, a California Superior Court in Los Angeles appointed Frances’s paternal grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, and her father’s sister, Kimberly Cobain, as her temporary co-guardians. Frances reportedly was given a temporary restraining order against her mother. In 2010, when she turned 18, she inherited 37% of her father’s estate, including the publicity rights to the name and image of her father. She began dating Isaiah Silva in January 2010.
