Evan Spiegel (born June 4, 1990 in Los Angeles, California) is an American entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder of the mobile application, Snapchat, which he founded with Robert Murphy and Reggie Brown. He is currently the CEO of Snapchat.

Evan was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at Stanford, but he left school early to focus on Snapchat. However, in May 2014, Gawker released e-mails written by Evan during his fraternity days that were offensive towards women. Among the public outrage, Evan apologized and said the emails do not reflect his views. In 2015, Evan began dating model Miranda Kerr after meeting at a Louis Vuitton dinner. On July 20, 2016, the couple announced their engagement.
