Dustin Johnson (born Dustin Hunter Johnson on June 22, 1984 in Columbia, South Carolina) is an American professional golfer. Justin grew up in South Carolina, attending Coastal Carolina University where he played collegiate golf. Justin won the Monroe Invitational and the Northeast Amateur tournaments in 2007. That year, he also played on the winning Walker Cup and Palmer teams. Dustin turned professional in 2007 and earned his 2008 PGA Tour card by tying for 14 th place at at the 2007 qualifying school. During his rookie season, Dustin won his first PGA Tour event in October’s Turning Stone Resort Championship. He then won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. In 2010, Dustin won both the AT&T Pebble Beach tournament again. He almost won the PGA Championship tournament, but an accident with his club knocked him back to fifth place. At that year’s third Fed Ex playoff event, he won his fourth PGA Tour open and finished the season ranked 4 th. In 2011, Dustin won The Barclays tournament, and came close to winning the Open Championship in England. Dustin won the FedEx St. Jude Classic in 2012 and the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in 2013. He took most of the 2014 season off to help with reported drug issues. He returned in 2015, recording two top-five finishes in the start of the season. Dustin won the US Open in 2016.

Dustin and model, Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of NHL legend, Wayne Gretzky, were married in August 2013 after seven months of dating. The two welcomed their first son together, Tatum, on January 19, 2015.
