Drea de Matteo (born Andrea Donna de Matteo in Queens, New York on January 19, 1972) is an American-born actress. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Drea originally hoped to be a director before getting into acting. In 1999, she joined the cast of HBO’s The Sopranos, playing Adriana La Cerva, a role for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2004. She would also be nominated for a Golden Globe award that same year. In addition to her stint on the The Sopranos, Drea also became known for her roles as Angie Bolen on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, Joey Tribbiani’s sister Gina on the NBC’s Joey, and as Wendy Case in the hit FX series, Sons of Anarchy. In 2016, she also joined the cast of NBC’s highly-anticipated new drama Shades of Blue, starring alongside Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta as the character Tess Nazario.

Drea de Matteo started dating musician, Shooter Jennings, in 2001. The couple became engaged on June 11, 2009, when Shooter proposed onstage at the Stanley Center during a show in Utica, New York. Sadly, the couple decided to end their relationship without ever marrying.Together, they share two children together, daughter Alabama Gypsyrose Jennings (born November 2007) and son Waylon Albert “Blackjack” Jennings (born April 2011). In July 2015, Drea became engaged to Whitesnake bassist Michael Devin.
