Bio:
Dove Cameron (born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on January 15, 1996 in Seattle Washington) is an American actress and singer. Dove attended Sakai Intermediate School. At the age of eight, she began to act in a community theater in Bainbridge Island, Washington. When she was 14, Dove and her family moved to Los Angeles. She graduated from Burbank High School, singing in their National Championship Show Choir. Dove’s early career included appearances on Shameless, The Mentalist and Malibu Country. In 2012, Dove was cast in a Disney Channel original series, Liv and Maddie, where she played the dual role of twin sisters Liv and Maddie Rooney. In 2013, Dove released a cover of “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons. She followed it with “Better In Stereo,” which became a No.1 Kid Digital Song. In Feb 2014, Dove confirmed she was working on her debut solo album, but as of July 2015, it has been unreleased. In addition to Liv and Maddie, Dove has appeared in Cloud 9, Austin & Ally and the Disney television film, Descendants, portraying Mal, the daughter of Kristin Chenoweth’s Maleficent. Dove’s non-Disney work includes a role in Barely Lethal and R.L Stine’s Monsterville: The Cabinet of Souls.
