Bio:
Doris Burke (born Doris Sable on November 23, 1965 in West Islip, New York) is an American sports reporter. After playing basketball at Providence College — she was inducted into the Providence College Hall Of Fame in 2003 — Doris began her radio broadcasting career in 1990 as an analyst for the school’s women basketball team. Later that year, she started covering Big East women’s basketball on television, eventually moving up to Big East men’s basketball in 1996. Doris became ESPN’s lead WNBA analyst, and started working on the network’s top men’s basketball team in 2003. She’s been a sidelines reporter for ESPN and ABC, covering the NBA, ever since. She started commenting for ESPN’s preshow, NBA Countdown, in 2013 and has also worked on some NCAA football games for the network.

Personal Life:
Doris married Gregg Burke in 1989 and gave birth to two children in 1993 and 1995. She and Gregg eventually divorced.
