Ryan Knight Honored By ‘The Challenge’ Costars In Tribute Episode

It was definitely a tough night for the MTV family. On Jan. 27, his costars gathered to pay tribute to Ryan Knight, ‘The Real World: New Orleans’ alum who sadly passed away on Nov. 27.
It was a tough night for The Challenge family. After an elimination on the Battle of the Exes 2, MTV held a special after show to remember Ryan Knight, and cast members, including his on-again off-again girlfriend and BotE2 partner, Jemmye Carroll.

Diem Brown Knew She Had Colon Cancer Before ‘The Challenge’

This is just devastating. As most fans of ‘The Challenge’ know, contestant Diem Brown was struck with cancer for the third time while she was competing on the show. What they might not know, though, is that the bubbly blonde was aware of her illness before the show began filming– and she went for it anyway. Talk about bravery!
The Jan. 20 episode of The Challenge, was one of the most difficult to watch, as it was the last time cast member Diem Brown would be featured on the series. Diem’s fight with cancer had been well known to fans when the star sadly passed away in November of last year, however, Diem herself knew of the uphill battle in front of her long before that.

This week’s episode of ‘The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2’ was definitely one of the most heartbreaking things we’ve ever seen in MTV’s history — but it also showed that Diem Brown was one loved woman.
Last week’s Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 ended with Diem Brown feeling sick after a peanut butter challenge, but making CT still go out and have a good time. This week picked up right where it left off, and CT returned home to bad news.
