Denise Richards

Denise Richards (born Denise Lee Richards on February 17, 1971 in Downers Grove, Illinois) is an American actress and former fashion model. Denise grew up in California, graduating from El Camino High School in Oceanside in 1989. She began her acting career early, appearing in the Double music video, “The Captain of Her Heart” when she was just 15. In the 1990s, she appeared in low-budget films and television shows. Her first starring role was in 1997’s Starship Troopers. She followed it up in Wild Things and in the James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough. In 2001, she appeared on an episode of Friends and in handful of episodes of Spin City, playing the love interest of Charlie Sheen’s character. She would star opposite him again in two episodes of Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she posed nude for Playboy, semi-nude for the June issue of Jane Magazine, and often appeared on Maxim’s 50 Sexiest Women lists. In 2013, she starred in the short-lived sitcom, Twisted.

Personal Life:
Denise first met Charlie Sheen on the set of Loaded Weapon in 1991. They were engaged in 2001 and married a year later. They had two daughters – Sam and Lola Rose – before she filed for divorce from Charlie in 2005. She was pregnant with Lola at the time, but she couldn’t stand to be with him any longer. Though Denise and Charlie were on good terms in 2012, things fell apart around 2013. Denise was awarded temporary custody of Charlie’s boys, Bob and Max, after they were taken from his home by child protective services over concerns of his drug use. When Charlie reportedly contracted HIV in 2015, Denise said her daughters were disease-free.
