David Shulkin (born David Jonathon Shulkin in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania on June 22, 1959) became a doctor after getting his MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He worked as chief medical college at University of Pennsylvania Health System, Temple University Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He worked as Under Secretary to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert MacDonald.
