Bio:
Christa Harmotto Dietzen (born Christa Deanne Harmotto in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, on October 12, 1986) is an American indoor volleyball player who plays middle blocker. She attended Penn State University, where she played middle for four seasons and helped lead the team to two consecutive NCAA championships. She ended her collegiate volleyball career with the second-best career hitting percentage (.433) in NCAA history. Christa was almost immediately picked up by the U.S. women’s national volleyball team, playing on the gold medal-winning team in the 2014 World Championship. After winning the Olympic silver medal as part of the USA Women’s Olympic Volleyball Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Christa was once again selected to play on the team in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Best Known For:
Christa is best known for playing middle blocker/hitter for the U.S. women’s national volleyball team, serving as captain for the Olympic team at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Christa has been married to real estate analyst Derek Dietzen since June 2014.
