Bio:
Charlotte (born Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr on April 5, 1986 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American professional wrestler. Charlotte is the daughter of professional wrestling legend Ric Flair and his then-wife, Elizabeth. While growing up, Charlotte developed an interest in sports and gymnastics. She holds two high school NCHSAA 4 A-State championships for volleyball. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in public relations in 2008, and she worked as a personal trainer before following into the family business. In 2011, she signed a developmental contract with the WWE and adopted the name Charlotte as a tribute to both her father and her home. She made her televised match debut in 2013. Charlotte captured her first NXT Women’s Championship in 2014. Charlotte made her first WWE appearance in Dec. 2014, a month before she lost her NXT Women’s Title to Sasha Banks at NXT TakeOver: Rival, ending her reign at 258 days. In 2015, Charlotte became a permanent WWE roster member. She won the WWE’s Divas Championship at Night of Champions in Sept. 2015.

Personal Life:
Charlotte married Thomas Latimer, a professional wrestler who performs under the name Bram, in 2013. They finalized their divorce in 2015. In 2008, Charlotte was arrested in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for assaulting a police officer after fighting with her then-partner, Riki Johnston, and her father. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail, which was suspended to a supervised probation.
