Bio:
Chad L. Coleman (born in Richmond, Virginia on September 6, 1974), is an American actor. After graduating from high school, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University, before dropping out to serve in the United States Army. Chad served from 1985 to 1989 and worked as a video cameraman during his time there. He began his acting career in 1992 and appeared in numerous television series such as Law & Order, New York Undercover, and Monday Midnight Mayhem. Chad got his first big starring role in the HBO series The Wire, where he played Dennis “Cutty” Wise from 2004 to 2008. From late 2012 to early 2015, he played Tyreese on AMC’s post-apocalyptic horror series The Walking Dead. In 2016, he stars in the Syfy series The Expanse, where he plays the main character, Colonel Frederick Lucius Johnson.
Best Known For:
Chad is best known for his role of Dennis “Cutty” Wise on The Wire and for his recorded NYC subway rant in May 2015.

Chad has been married to actress Sally Stewart since 1999. They have two children together.
